REGISTER YOUR INTEREST

Register your interest for FREE via this form and you could receive a streamlined fibre installation. This form also asks you to give consent for Ultrafast Fibre Limited (UFF) to install the External Termination Point (ETP) (free-of-charge) on the outside of your house or business premises as we build our network down your street.

Don’t know what an ETP is? You can find out more information about ETPs here.

We may be able to process your request faster if you provide two contact numbers.

If you are not the owner of the property then you undertake that you have obtained the approval of the owner of the property for UFF to perform the installation works at or on the property and within any common areas. This undertaking also applies where the property is part of a multi-dwelling unit (such as an apartment or office building) and the owner of the property owns all of the units within that development.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IF YOU FAIL TO OBTAIN THE APPROVAL OF THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY BEFORE SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT THAT FAILURE MAY RESULT IN A SUBSEQUENT DISPUTE BETWEEN YOU AND THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY AND YOU INDEMNIFY UFF FOR ANY CLAIM, LOSS, DAMAGE AND COSTS INCURRED AS A DIRECT RESULT OF YOUR FAILURE AND/OR ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN YOU AND THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I pre-order Fibre Broadband?

Yes! In just three easy steps

  1. Register your interest for FREE via the form below and let us know if you want us to install some of our network on your property when we build down the street and receive a streamlined fibre installation
  2. Ultrafast Fibre Limited (UFF) will contact you to take you through the next steps; and
  3. Once UFF gives you the green light, you can contact your preferred broadband provider and sign up to a Fibre Broadband service.

Why do I need to fill in the form below?

This website has been set up for the benefit of the residents in our new Fibre Broadband areas – to let you register your interest and be one of the first in line for pre-ordering Fibre Broadband as soon as we finish building our fibre network in your street. We are also giving you the opportunity to speed up things by giving UFF your consent to install (free of charge) the External Termination Point (ETP) on the outside of your house or business premises when we are building our network in your street. We are calling this “streamlined fibre installation” and more information is set out below in the Registration of Interest form.

Why do I need an External Termination Point or ETP?

You need an ETP in order to have a Fibre Broadband service installed. UFF will not charge you for a standard ETP installation, and (if you choose) you may not even need to be home for the ETP installation. You will need to read and accept our “Streamlined Fibre Installation” Terms and Conditions on the Registration of Interest form, and UFF will do the rest for you.

What does the External Termination Point look like?

The ETP is a small white box (23cm x 16cm) fixed to the outside wall, either at a location that is closest to your current telecommunications box or closest to the fibre access point on your boundary.

I do not agree or understand the UFF Terms and Conditions on the form below, but I really want Fibre Broadband

That’s OK, you can fill in the form below and choose the “Before I agree can you contact me” option and we will make sure someone from our team contacts you to discuss our Terms and Conditions. By asking for more information you are not obligated to proceed with the ETP installation or sign up for a Fibre Broadband service. You can find our more information about ETPs here.

When do you expect to start and finish in my town?

We are working hard to deliver Fibre Broadband to your town as soon as possible. Please come back to this page regularly as we provide updates in due course. Thank you for your patience.

What consent is required because my property is down a right of way or shared accessway?

Before commencing any Fibre Broadband installation work for a property built down a right of way or shared accessway, UFF is legally obligated to obtain the written consent from all of the property owners who have a legal interest in that right of way or shared accessway. We will provide you with a consent form for those other property owner(s) to sign, and that form will only need to be signed once – which means that if any of the other property owners wants to order a Fibre Broadband service in the future, we will already have the required consents to proceed with the installation work required to deliver that service.

I am a tenant, what consent is required if I want to order Fibre Broadband?

If you are a tenant in a residential property (i.e. a house), you will need to obtain the written consent of your landlord (or property manager) and either: (a) get them to sign the relevant UFF forms; or (b) give you permission to sign the relevant UFF forms on behalf of the owner or manager, and in doing so you will be undertaking to us that you have the consent of that owner or manager. You do not need to provide us with a copy of the owner or manager’s consent, unless we ask for it. If you are a tenant in a multi-unit complex (i.e. an apartment, a block of units or a commercial building), we need a copy of the written consent of the owner of the building (or the person in charge of managing the building, such as a real estate agent property manager, owners association or body corporate) before we can install (and, as required, access) our equipment in that building. We can provide you with the required form, although we prefer to work directly with the owner for these large sites.
